in a bind.

today was a good wrapup to the weekend, if you could consider my two days of working this saturday & sunday "the weekend." i worked all afternoon, left after eight o'clock and came home to see that i had an excellent overdraft notice from my bank hanging out on the kitchen counter. i think that this checking account (at td banknorth) is getting a little ... old. i never really use it except in a bind, and i don't keep that much money in it ever, except for emergencies. so, i drove to sanford & deposited some cash in there, which will probably serve for gas funds for the next couple weeks. yeah, my life is exciting. who wants to go get the fuck out of here?

anyway, a DINOSAUR JR. video just came on vh1 classic so i am pretty fucking excited. i think my cat is also excited -- he's pawing at a set of teacups at the pace of the song's drumming. tomorrow i will have a top ten list of exciting things. i just thought of three, so here's a preview: new york times articles about chronic internet networking site usage, trash cans existing, and hardcore music made before 1995.

the only thing weirder than coming home at 4AM is driving past a really creepy looking tall dude walking down a completely black country road a quarter of a mile from your house, at 4AM.

several broken glasses.

so, this is old news, but is there anything hotter/funnier than parker posey in superman returns?

ummm i think not.

p.s. things are going good. i have to work a little too much in the upcoming week (everyday) that everything seems to be falling behind me. not too awesome when i want to be holding onto every second of summer for as long as i can, like a person stepping in the first snow of the winter for the first time as its still falling, realizing that an entire untouched landscape surrounds them.

p.p.s. boring opinion, but state spending caps are the biggest piece of legislative horseshit in the worlddd.

p.p.p.s. my boss dropped a pallet of corona on the ground today, from about 25 feet up in the air. it landed upside down on another pallet of alcohol and exploded everywhere. ive never seen so much glass and disgusting alcohol in my life. it took hours to clean up. and this, kids, is what happens at your local grocery everyday.

reintroduction.

hi guys. i am glad to say that this journal is going to be ALL OPEN ENTRIES.

anyways, the past couple weeks have been pretty wacky. i work a lot and sleep sometimes and play basketball poorly sometimes and go to parties and chant along with songs on the radio when i'm driving around. it's kind of like every other summer, except without the big splash at the beginning which makes everything that follows suck in comparison. i'm kind of glad its been like this, in retrospect big early summer events (i.e. squashparty, gilmania, et al) are incredible things for friends to enjoy together, but little summer-y moments have the ability to be cherished as well. okay, so enough of that sappy shit. how are you guys?
